It is the little grey cells

“It is the brain, the little grey cells on which one must rely. One must seek the truth within-not without.”, says Hercule Poirot, the smart, witty detective of the Agatha Christie series.
I was in the 8th standard, when I started my first Agatha Christie novel, that being, Murder on the Orient Express. It was Hercule Poirot, who aroused my interest in the crime fiction genre. Each and every novel of the Agatha Christie series had me thinking, thinking hard as to who the murderers could be. The twists in the novel kept me head over heels, every time. It was like a whetstone, on which I sharpened my wit. There was not a single moment in the entire story, where I did not find my mind racing to reach the truth. And now that I know that a movie is being produced on Murder on the Orient Express, my joy knows no bounds! I am truly awaiting the arrival of the movie, and wish to see it knitted together brilliantly. It will be a great delight to see the very first Agatha Christie novel that I read, on screen. Poirot is a character that I admire and watching him back, alive in character will be a sheer delight!
‘Cause he surely will be testing our wits, as
“It’s the little grey cells, mon ami”
